A man who was critically injured in a shooting Saturday night has been identified.
Marteques L. Black, 20, of Fort Wayne, was the person sitting in a vehicle near the intersection of Reed and Fisher streets, according to a release from the Fort Wayne Police Department, when someone armed with a handgun demanded money around 10:33 p.m.
The assailant then shot the victim and ran off. Black made it to Pontiac and Lillie streets a few blocks away, where police and paramedics found him after being called.
No one has been arrested in the shooting.
